The verified difference
What “verified” actually means here
Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist online. On CONNECT, the word means something — because we check.
We only list two kinds of professional. Registered Dietitiansare regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council — “dietitian” is a legally protected title, and every dietitian on CONNECT is checked against the HCPC's public register. Registered Nutritionists hold UKVRN registration with the Association for Nutrition, which we check against the AfN register.
Before any profile goes live, our team confirms the registration number, name and status on the official register. No registration, no listing — it's that simple.
